Although we’ve been in business for a while now I have finally completed the website. I will be posting regular blogs from my favorite sessions, behind the scenes, and much more.
Honestly, this was a long and difficult process. I was not familiar with the builder as the last time I had designed a site it was back when HTML, CSS, and PHP were prominent. You know back during those Neopet days when kids were making guild pages, blinkies, blogs, buttons, and other creative little graphics. That’s how my passion first started in the digital arts. I know, I know. I was a goofy geeky little girl, but you know what I embraced it.
So for this blog I will let you get to know me a bit more. I am a Photographer of course, however I am also a wife, a step-mother, and new…ish mom. I have 3 wonderful children. My oldest son and daughter came from my husbands first marriage to an actually very nice woman. I am lucky to be able to be called their step mom. They are 18 and 15 now. Goodness, the years go by so fast. Be careful on the roads my daughter is now taking drivers ed, haha. I had been told since I was a young teenager that I would not be able to have children of my own so joining a pre-built family was more of a blessing than anything. My husband and I met at a concert September 4th, 2010 and the rest is history. We were officially married September 7th, 2013. About to years after our wedding we were blessed to find out we were having a baby. Then along came my youngest, Ashton. He is now 2.5 years old and just a little HAM.
Pictured is my youngest son and my niece playing at the studio. They are two peas in a pod and just too darn stinking cute.
As we all know Jacksonville is a Military town, but my husband and I are not military. My father was Marine and he completed his 20 years. He retired from Cherry Point in Havelock where I spent the majority of my childhood. We moved to Havelock outside of Cherry Point when i was 6 years old and continued to live there until I graduated High school. I then moved in with the man I had fallen love with which took me to Jacksonville. He is a contractor. He owns and operates Morissette Painting & Drywall.
Well, I could go on and on and on. However, It is time that I start getting to work. Boudoir session completed today and tomorrow we have a senior session at the studio. I would love to have you follow me during this Journey and Growth in the Industry.
